From OnePhilippines magazine:
I can personally attest to this scrumptious and delicious delicacy that is truly Pinoy!
I met the family and the matriarch herself of PNJ Sausage Factory as the Pinoy Pride Festival last April and I must say coming home with a couple of packages of their simply irresistible “longanisa” and cooking it fresh with some fried rice and sunny-side up eggs was like a match made in haven for me.
The longanisa (Filipino sausage) is PNJ’s top of the line item. But they also have other flavors like the hamonado (sweet version of longanisa) and the tocino (sweet cured meat like ham). Their mild-flavored longanisa and the sweet and spicy blend are top favorites too! I am getting hungry just writing about it…
PNJ started its business almost twenty years ago in Hawaii. Their popularity in the islands spread like a hot molten lava all just through word-of-mouth advertising.
As people began to find out about PNJ’s delicious longanisa, they began to make special requests for it. Count me in, perhaps two more packs of my personal favorite – the extra garlic with vinegar; they are simply to-die-for!
PNJ Sausage Factory, a family-owned business, promises to continually share their great meat products to customers all over the United States.
Their selection of gourmet quality meat are all USDA approved and made with premium cuts of fresh pork and unique blends of herbs and spices. Their customers include restaurants and major grocery outlets in Hawaii’s particularly in O’ahu, Maui, Moloka’i and Lana’i.
PNJ is thrilled to share their tasty longanisa, hamonado and tocino to the world. They believe that once you’ve experienced these mouth-watering delicacies, it will be a sure-fire hit!
